Paul has been a certified Pilates Instructor and a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2010 and graduated in 2014 with a BS in Exercise Physiology. His great love for health and wellness comes through with each and every client.
Paul started practicing Pilates in 2009, and became a certified Classical Pilates teacher in 2010. Since making Pilates a part of his exercise regimen, and in working with clients, he has noticed the many benefits. These benefits include but are not limited to, increased core strength, improved posture, greater flexibility, and injury prevention. Paul has a great love for being a Pilates Teacher because he enjoys helping clients achieve their health goals.
Paul became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2010 after attending Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Rochester, NY. He has continued his education in Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release, Medical Massage, Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, Cupping and Kinesio Taping. These are specific modalities to better serve ones needs. Practicing Massage Therapy ties into his own commitment to health and wellness as it is a preventive and healing art.
In 2014 Paul graduated Summa Cum Laude from the College at Brockport with a bachelors in Exercise Physiology. After college he completed two national certification exams for fitness, which include Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. With all of Paul's additional education and certifications he feels confident that he can provide his clients with a high level of training and expertise.
Paul's spare time is spent enjoy time with his wife Jenny and his two children, Summer and Owen. To stay active Paul enjoys strength training, Pilates, playing soccer, hiking, and running. He also enjoys reading in order to keep his practice evidence based. As a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Exercise Physiologist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Pilates Teacher he has developed programs and adaptations for exercise prescriptions to better serve his current and future clients.
Lorie started her Pilates journey over 20 years ago in order to improve her posture after having 2 children, and she quickly came to love how Pilates enriched her life and made her feel. In 2005 Lorie completed her Comprehensive Classical Pilates Training at Body Precision Pilates Studio in Bryn Mawr, PA and is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance. Lorie is a native Rochestarian and received her BA in Mathematics from SUNY, Potsdam and her MS in Elementary Education from Nazareth College. After completing her Comprehensive Pilates Training Lorie began teaching Pilates in Rochester at Pilates Plus before moving to Atlanta in 2011 where she taught at Absolute Pilates. After several years away from our beautiful state, she and her family moved back north in 2018 where she taught at Club Pilates in Clifton Park. Lorie has a true passion for learning and has continued her Pilates education by attending several conferences and workshops including a four day GAP filler workshop with Rebecca Leone, the Classical Pilates Conference, as well as continuing education workshops at Body Precision Pilates Studio and Power Pilates in NYC. Lorie can’t stop learning and recently went back to school to study Occupational Therapy at Maria College in Albany, NY and currently works as an Occupational Therapy Assistant while also teaching Pilates. Lorie is a proud mother to two college students, Allie and Jacob and when she's not busy enriching people's lives, she enjoys spending time with her family and biking with her husband, Jeff.
Zach has been helping clients meet their fitness goals for over three years. No matter where you are in your fitness journey with Zach's experience and dedication in your corner you're on your way to success! Not only is Zach training clients but he also coaches track and field at St. John Fisher where he him self competed and received his BA in Biology. When he’s not working you'll likely find him outdoors water skiing, swimming or hiking!
Stephen Wheeler is a certified Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, Health Coach, and Qigong Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. He holds a degree in exercise science and began his career in 2003. Stephen earned his Pilates certification in 2004 at Sal Anthony’s Movement Salon in New York City, where he worked for several years. In 2006, he opened his first business across from the Empire State Building, later completing his degree in exercise science and obtaining his personal training certification.
In 2008, Stephen co-founded Gramercy Pilates Fitness in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood. He returned to his hometown of Rochester in 2014, where he had his second child, and launched MetaFitx in Fairport, NY, in 2016. After taking a brief hiatus for personal and health reasons, Stephen is excited to re-enter the fitness industry and support his younger brother, Paul.
Stephen is passionate about creating new classes, workouts, and fitness programs that help clients strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits. He enjoys meditating, practicing Pilates and Qigong, and continually studying how different wellness modalities work together to promote overall health and wholeness.
As a practicing physical therapist, Alex has a diverse work background caring for individuals on all walks of life. Alex has developed an expanding passion for the art within the science of physical therapy. With Sole Dynamics, he is moving forward. Moving towards a universal therapy service in which anyone, regardless of their situation, can reach a personally satisfying level of wellness characterized by strength, willfulness, and sustainability.
Bryan is founder and owner of Motive Physical Therapy. He practices with a holistic and person-centered mindset, and believes in the feel-good power of movement and the benefit of small, consistent daily habits and practices in achieving health, wellness, and performance goals. He offers extensive knowledge as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a certified Precision Nutrition Coach (PN1). Bryan graduated from Ithaca College and went on to complete an orthopaedic residency program through Cayuga Medical Center.
Carol has dedicated her life to the evolution of health and wellness, striving for better healthcare solutions. As the founder of Singing Wing Sound Therapy, she fully embodies these beliefs and is looking forward to guiding you on your journey.
Carol's primary focus is Biofield Tuning and Eminus Mirus energy medicine. During a session, she is able to uncover underlying issues resulting in current health problems. Clients experience restored energy, relief from symptoms, and the joys of life.Dr. Jay Nittoli is a New York State licensed clinical social worker. During the course of his 34 year career he has practiced in a variety of clinical and school based settings providing mental health services to adults, children and families. Dr. Nittoli believes that all people seeking therapy are truly unique, yet they all have the same basic needs for acceptance, compassion, happiness, and human connection. He utilizes Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy to treat patients with anxiety, depression, trauma histories and chronic physical pain conditions. He is also very committed to providing therapy in a manner that is culturally sensitive.
